Privacy policy
What we collect, where it goes, and what we will not do with it.
The quote form collects your name, contact details, suburb and job description, and is hosted by Jotform, which stores submissions on servers in the United States. We use what you send to quote and carry out the work. We do not sell it, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use photographs of your property in advertising without asking. You can ask us what we hold and ask us to correct or delete it at any time.
What we collect and why
What the quote form collects. The quote form on the contact page asks for your name, phone number, email address, suburb and a description of the job, and lets you attach photographs of the slab. Only the fields you fill in are collected. Nothing on this website asks for payment details, and we never ask for them by email.
What we do with it. We use your details to answer your enquiry, arrange a site visit, and issue a quote. If you go ahead, the same details become the job record: the quote, the specification, the invoice and any warranty correspondence.
What we collect when you simply read the site. This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising trackers, and has no analytics installed. Your web host records ordinary server request information the way every website does. If we add analytics later, this page will say so before it goes live.
What we do not do. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote. We do not use photographs of your property in advertising, on this website or on social media without asking you first — and asking means asking, not burying permission in a contract.
Where your information goes
The quote form is hosted by Jotform. The form embedded on our contact page is provided by Jotform Inc. When you press submit, what you typed goes to Jotform, which stores the submission on its servers and notifies us. Jotform is based in the United States, so your enquiry is stored outside Australia. Jotform also sets its own cookies inside that form. If you would rather not use a third-party form, phone 0404 859 045 or email us directly — both reach us the same way and neither involves Jotform.
Google Fonts. This site loads two typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for those font files, including your IP address. No other third-party resource is loaded on any page.
Suppliers, engineers and subcontracted trades. Some jobs need a concrete supplier, an engineer, a plumber or a subcontracted trade. Where that happens we pass on only what that party needs to do the work — usually the address, the access arrangements and the specification. We do not pass on your enquiry history or anything they have no use for.
Nobody else. Beyond the parties named above, we disclose personal information only where the law requires it, or where you have asked us to.
What you can ask us to do
Ask us what we hold. You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, and ask us to correct anything that is wrong. Email quotes@decorativeconcreteresurfacing.com.au or call 0404 859 045. We do not charge for this, and we will respond within a reasonable time. If we refuse a request we will tell you why in writing.
How long we keep it. Enquiries that never become jobs are kept only as long as they are useful, and we will delete yours on request. Job records are kept for as long as we need them for warranty, insurance, tax and legal purposes — for building work that is normally several years after the job is finished, because that is how long a defect claim can run.
How it is kept. Quote and job records are held in business systems that require a password to reach. Paper records — site notes, signed quotes — are kept at the business address. If a data breach happens that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.
Complaints. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and give us the chance to fix it. If you are still not satisfied, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner accepts privacy complaints from the public and can be reached at oaic.gov.au.
Children. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information about them. A quote enquiry about a property is expected to come from the owner or occupier.
Changes to this policy. If what we do with personal information changes, this page changes with it, and the date below changes too. We do not quietly revise it.

Send a photo of the slab.
We will tell you whether it can be resurfaced, what finish suits it, and what it costs — before anyone turns up with a grinder.
