Service areas

Based at Springfield Lakes. Working across South East Queensland.

In short

We work from Springfield Lakes across nine main areas of South East Queensland: Brisbane City, Brisbane Southside, Brisbane Northside, Logan City, Redland City, Ipswich, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba. Ipswich and the western corridor are usually on site within days; metro runs inside a fortnight; coastal and Range work is scheduled as planned trips.

Where we work

Nine main areas

Every suburb we work in sits under one of these. Open the main area for how we schedule it, or go straight to your suburb.

Brisbane City7 suburbs

Inner-city courtyards, unit block hardstands and retail entries — tight access, character overlays.

Brisbane Southside7 suburbs

Centenary-era slabs and graded driveways, where drainage and slip rating lead the specification.

Brisbane Northside7 suburbs

Post-war stock and post-2000 estate slabs, scheduled as planned runs.

Logan City7 suburbs

Springwood through to Beenleigh — 1980s driveways, shed slabs and pool surrounds.

Redland City7 suburbs

Bayside slabs: higher salt load, shorter sealer intervals, penetrating sealers over films.

Ipswich7 suburbs

Our home corridor. Usually on site within days rather than weeks.

Gold Coast7 suburbs

Canal-front salt, beachfront exposure and hinterland slopes, quoted in planned runs.

Sunshine Coast7 suburbs

Open-coast exposure and hinterland rainfall, booked in planned runs rather than day calls.

Toowoomba7 suburbs

Range conditions: genuine frost cycles, black soil movement and wider thermal swings.

Local knowledge

Why the suburb changes the job

The method never changes, but the slab does — and the slab is a product of where and when it was poured. Western corridor estate housing from the 2000s tends to be structurally sound with worn-out sprayed finishes and settlement cracking along old fill lines. Post-war and 1970s Brisbane and Ipswich slabs are often thinner than current practice, perfectly serviceable, and unforgiving of a heavy overlay at the edges. Newer northside and Ripley estates are mostly first-time decorative work over sound plain concrete.

Site conditions vary just as much. Hilly western suburbs mean falls, stairs and retaining, so slip rating and drainage lead the specification. Coastal areas mean salt, harder sealer service and more use out of a pool surround. The Range means genuine frost cycles and more thermal movement, which puts the emphasis on joints and crack bridging.

Then there is the practical layer: estate and body corporate colour schedules, shared driveways that have to stay usable, narrow inner-city access where everything is carried in, and street parking rules that decide where the truck goes. None of that changes what a good job looks like — it changes how the week is planned, which is why we ask about it at quote time rather than discovering it on the morning.

We will tell you whether it can be resurfaced, what finish suits it, and what it costs — before anyone turns up with a grinder.
