Work

Slabs we prepared and finished

Every photo here is our own job — no stock library, no supplier brochures.

Method

Four days, in the same order, every job.

Preparation is most of the work and all of the warranty. The decorative part is the last day.

01 — Grind and test

Diamond grind back to sound concrete, then moisture and bond test. If the slab fails, you get told before you pay for an overlay that will lift.

02 — Repair and prime

Cracks cut, filled and bridged. Falls corrected so water leaves the slab instead of sitting on it. Primer coat the same day.

03 — Lay the finish

Overlay, stencil, aggregate or flake, laid to the build-up quoted. One crew, no subcontracted finishers.

04 — Seal and cure

Two coats of UV-stable sealer. Foot traffic at 24 hours, vehicles at 72 on most finishes.

Questions

The questions we get asked most

Can you resurface cracked concrete?

Yes, provided the slab is structurally sound. The crack is cut out, filled and bridged with a reinforcing membrane before the overlay goes over the top.

How long before we can park on it?

Foot traffic at 24 hours for most finishes, vehicles at 72. Exposed aggregate and stamped work need up to seven days.

How much does concrete resurfacing cost?

It depends on area, finish and how much preparation the slab needs. Resurfacing a sound slab is typically around half the cost of removing and re-pouring the same area. Quotes are free and on site.

Will it lift in the Queensland sun?

Not if the preparation is right. Every slab is ground back to clean, sound concrete, moisture tested and primed before the overlay goes down.

Which suburbs do you cover?

Nine main areas: Brisbane City, Brisbane Southside, Brisbane Northside, Logan City, Redland City, Ipswich, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba — including Springfield Lakes and the whole western corridor.

Do you do commercial work?

Car parks, loading aprons, hardstands, shopfront entries and body corporate driveways, including out-of-hours work where the site needs to stay trading.

Service areas

Where we work

Nine main areas across South East Queensland. Every suburb we cover sits under one of them.

Brisbane City7 suburbs

Inner-city courtyards, unit block hardstands and retail entries — tight access, character overlays.

Brisbane Southside7 suburbs

Centenary-era slabs and graded driveways, where drainage and slip rating lead the specification.

Brisbane Northside7 suburbs

Post-war stock and post-2000 estate slabs, scheduled as planned runs.

Logan City7 suburbs

Springwood through to Beenleigh — 1980s driveways, shed slabs and pool surrounds.

Redland City7 suburbs

Bayside slabs: higher salt load, shorter sealer intervals, penetrating sealers over films.

Ipswich7 suburbs

Our home corridor. Usually on site within days rather than weeks.

Gold Coast7 suburbs

Canal-front salt, beachfront exposure and hinterland slopes, quoted in planned runs.

Sunshine Coast7 suburbs

Open-coast exposure and hinterland rainfall, booked in planned runs rather than day calls.

Toowoomba7 suburbs

Range conditions: genuine frost cycles, black soil movement and wider thermal swings.
