What the slabs are like in Kedron
Under-house slabs are the local signature and the most common specification mistake. They sit low, usually with no membrane, and draw moisture from the ground indefinitely. A film sealer over that blisters; a penetrating sealer lets the slab breathe. We moisture test before recommending either.
Narrow blocks mean the concrete is almost always poured against something older — a stump, a brick pier, a retaining edge.
