What the slabs are like around here
Sandy coastal-plain soil rather than clay, so slabs here move less and crack less than the western corridor. The work is surface-led: UV-chalked original finishes on west-facing driveways, and pool surrounds laid smooth before slip rating was routinely specified. Salt in the air shortens sealer life closer to the bay, and any cracking we find is usually shrinkage rather than settlement.
